Pecan Valley is a member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) and based in Brownwood, Texas. We officiate most of the high school football teams in the area including the Brownwood Lions, Early Longhorns, Bangs Dragons, Goldthwaite Eagles, Brookesmith Mustangs, May Tigers, Richland Springs Coyotes, and most other central Texas high schools. Our chapter specializes in six man football due to the amount of 6 man teams in the area; however, we referee all team sizes from 1A to 5A teams.

PecanValleyRefs.com was built as a tool for local chapter members, coaches, schools, as well as local fans. The website contains a variety of resources including local team information, football related links, rules, forms, etc. We invite you to visit often and also to send us game information, videos, images, and so forth to help train our younger officials.

All of our chapter members love the game of football and spend a large amount of personal time learning both the rules and mechanics of high school football. We invite anyone who is passionate about the game to visit our meetings and perhaps join our chapter. Pecan Valley is always looking to add new members. Our meetings start July 24, and we meet every Monday night at 6:30 at Howard Payne University, Newman Hall, Room 136 (across street from Brownwood Brookeshire's).
